Unemployment throughout Iraq is high and there are no traditional job placement mechanisms. The Iraq Job Fairs project is one of IACCI’s latest initiatives that seek to rebuild the economy of Iraq. Sponsored by MNC-I C-9, this innovative Job Fair enterprise will connect unemployed and underemployed persons with employers in their area who are in need of workers. The Job Fairs are one-day events that will take place during October and November 2007 at 16 venues in 16 cities across Iraq from approximately 9AM to 3PM.
